Jetstar expands Ballina air service
Tourism in Ballina and its surrounding regions has been given a boost by Jetstar, which has announced extra flights to Ballina-Byron Gateway Airport.
As well as extra flights to Sydney, Jetstar has announced that there will be a new direct service to Melbourne.
The new Jetstar schedule, to begin on March 28, includes:
- Melbourne to Ballina 5.55pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Ballina to Melbourne 8.15pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- Sydney to Ballina 10.50am daily; 7.10pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
- Ballina to Sydney 12.35pm daily; 8.55pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Jetstar’s new services will augment flights already operating into Ballina by Rex Airlines and Virgin.
