Everingham achieves a cricket rarity

Congratulations to Lennox Head L J Hooker League cricketer James Everingham, who completed a cricket rarity — a hat-trick — in an Under-19 interdistrict match on February 5.

Playing for Ballina against Lismore at Fripp Oval, Ballina, James’ three wickets in three deliveries helped Ballina to a win over their arch-rivals.

James finished with 5-21 off seven overs of off-spin.
