Where they’re biting around Ballina, Lennox Head

Calmer seas this weekend should see a return to outside fishing after the cyclonic weather the past few weekends.

Meanwhile, estuary fishing is going well, with plenty of flathead and whiting in the Richmond River and North Creek.

School jew and tailor have been taken from the beaches and both walls.

Bream, tailor and whiting have been the main catches along Seven Mile Beach.

This weekend’s tides (Note: Daylight savings ends on Saturday night):

Saturday: 5.22am .22m, 11.25am 1.41m, 5.14pm .38m, 11.38pm 1.75m.

Sunday: 5.17am .3m, 11.15am 1.26m, 4.53pm .49m, 11.24pm 1.68m.
