Lennox Head reservoir gets a paint job
The Lennox Head water reservoir is now more pleasing to the eye, thanks to the work of Californian artist Seth Womble.
Seth has painted the previously unsightly reservoir with a mural which Ballina Shire Council says has provided Lennox Head with a ‘fantastic piece of art’.
“The painting of the mural was approved by council last year and involved council supporting the project through the supply of materials and safety equipment,” the council said.
“Seth managed the mural design and volunteers to complete the work. The majority of the painting was completed by Seth.”
Seth came to Australia in 2003 to study visual arts at Southern Cross University. He will return home soon but he has left a lasting legacy.
