Weekend surf check
A south-east swell to 1.5m and offshore winds have provided a great week for those who have had the time to surf.
Pick of the spots has been North Wall at Ballina, with Flat Rock also turning on nice malibu waves.
North-west to west winds are forecast for this weekend, so an early start could be the go before conditions get a bit windy.
Hopefully, there will be enough swell to allow those competing in this weekend’s Byron Bay mal classic to strut their stuff.
And don’t forget that entries for the annual All Girls Showdown are filling up fast.
