Resurrected Ballina fun run a success
Ballina’s resurrected fun run looks set to become an annual affair after the success of today’s event.
Ballina Lions Club revived the fun run, which was last held 20 years ago.
Lions club officials were pleased with the roll-up of 450 runners, walkers and joggers.
The competitors tackled the event in great spirit, highlighted by men’s open winners Adam Horder and Josh McHugh linking their hands as they crossed the line together. Adam runs Ballina’s Intershape Gym, while Josh, of Alstonville, works at the gym.
