Ned Kelly has been found, and Alison James is one happy woman.

We reported earlier this month (see http://www.ballina.info/blog/2006/05/05/ned-kellys-gone-missing-and-alison-wants-him-back/) how Alison’s Ned Kelly-shaped letter box had gone missing from her Rifle Range Road home.

Well, Ned was found last weekend at the Wyrallah Road golf practice range. Alison was informed and gleefully went to pick him up.

“Just wanted to say a big thank you for publishing something for us about our Ned Kelly letter box going missing. Your efforts resulted in Ned being left in a public place last Saturday night for us to collect,” Alison said in an email to Ballina Info.

“Thanks again — we really appreciate it.”

No worries Alison — we’re happy that you have your Ned Kelly back!
