Ballina RSL to host Nationals’ State conference

markvaileBallina RSL Club will host the New South Wales National Party annual State conference on June 16 and 17. Among the speakers will be party Leader and Deputy Prime Minister Mark Vaile, pictured.

Member for Ballina and NSW Nationals deputy leader Don Page also will address the conference.

The conference will begin with an opening ceremony on Friday at 10am.

The conference program (which is subject to change) is:

Friday: 10am opening ceremony; 10.15am State chairman’s address by Patrick Maher; 10.30am State Leader’s address by Andrew Stoner; 10.55am Vote of Thanks; 11am Motions — Transport, Regional Services and Development; 12.15pm Motions — Social Development; 1pm lunch; 2pm Deputy State Leader’s address by Don Page; 2.15pm Motions — Constitutions and Rules; 3.15pm Motions — Education and Health; 4.45pm State Parliamentary Question Time; 5.15pm close.

Saturday: 9am Motions — Primary Industry and Trade; 10am Federal Leader’s address by Mark Vaile; 10.25am Vote of Thanks; 10.30am Motions — Foreign Affairs, Legal and Justice, Economy and Taxation; 12.15pm Motions — Electoral and Party Affairs; 12.30pm Lunch; 2pm Motions — Resources, Energy and Conservation; 3pm Party awards; 3.30pm Motions — Resources, Energy and Conservation continued; 4.15pm Deputy Federal Leader’s address by Warren Truss; 4.30pm Federal Parliamentary Question time; 5pm close.
