Weekend surf report

This week’s wild weather down south has brought a big jump in the swell, with waves to 2m at Lennox Point this morning.

The quality was not that good, with the good bank that was there a month ago seemingly gone. It was ‘fat’, with a strong southerly push, but things may improve on a low tide.

Elsewhere, it was too big for Flat Rock and Boulders, but there should be good waves in Byron, provided there’s enough southerly in the wind.

South-west to south-east winds are forecast for the weekend, so you should be able to find a wave somewhere.
