Free bus service provided for Ballina Cup Day
A public half-day holiday has been gazetted for Thursday, September 14, for the running of the Ballina Cup.
Most businesses will close at noon.
Ballina Shire Council has advised that a free bus service will run to the Cup meeting. Departure times are:
Lennox Head: 11.30am, 12.15pm, 1pm.
East Ballina Shopping Centre: Noon, 12.45pm.
West Ballina Shopping Centre: 11.45am, 12.30pm.
Tamar Street Bus Interchange: 11.30am, noon, 12.15pm, 12.45pm, 1pm, 1.15pm, 1.30pm, 1.45pm, 2pm, 2.15pm.
Punters can return on the bus. Departure times for Lennox Head are 5.20pm and 6pm. Departure times for East and West Ballina are from 4.45pm until 6.30pm.
