Weekend surf report
Surfers hoping to get a wave over the long weekend will be greeted by a small north swell and northerly winds on Saturday morning, but there is hope for better conditions.
The Bureau of Meterology has forecast a southerly change for Saturday, so let’s hope it brings some swell.
This week there were beach breaks despite onshore conditions, with the north end of Shelly Beach at Ballina popular. It could be worth a look before the southerly sets in.
