Police investigate Knockrow single vehicle crash
Police are investigating a single vehicle fatal crash near Ballina in the State’s north yesterday.
About 1.30pm police were called to an area on the Pacific Highway at Knockrow after reports of car crash.
Police believe a green Mitsubishi Pajero station wagon was travelling south along the highway before driving down an embankment.
A man was found deceased at the scene. He has not been formally identified.
Officers from Richmond Local Area Command are investigating the crash and are yet to determine the exact time the crash occurred.
