Pacific Highway closed at Woodburn

The Pacific Highway at Woodburn is expected to be closed for most of the morning after a truck crash.

Police said that about 12.30am today (Friday 9 February) a semi-trailer travelling south on the Pacific Highway carrying perishable goods lost control and rolled.

No other vehicles were involved and the driver was uninjured, however power lines were brought down as a result of the crash.

A section of the Pacific Highway at Woodburn is expected to be blocked until around midday today while the truck is salvaged.

Local diversions have been set up to allow semi-trailers and sedan vehicles to travel around the crash site; however, police are advising that drivers of B-double semi-trailers consider taking an alternate route to avoid traffic delays.
