Gold Coast Titans on show in Lismore
National Rugby League fans can get a first-hand look at the new Gold Coast Titans team at Oakes Oval, Lismore, on Friday.
Communications officer Jason Sintome said the team would hold an open training session at Oakes Oval from 4pm on Friday, followed by a meet-the-players and autograph session from 5pm until 5.45.
There also will be a Come and Try rugby league clinic at Oakes Oval from 3.30pm until 4.30pm on Friday, which is open to the public.
The Titans will be in Lismore for Saturday night’s trial match against the Parramatta Eels, with kick-off at 7.30pm.
The Gold Coast rested their big-name signings from last Saturday’s loss to Melbourne Storm, but Sintome says they will play in Lismore on Saturday night.
Former Balmain premiership halfback Scott Prince, Preston Campbell (ex Penrith) and former St George State of Origin prop Luke Bailey are among the more high-profile Titans signings.
