Outstanding young Lennox Head-Alstonville Surf Lifesaving Club member Tanyn Lyndon is the national Under-15 ironman and board race champion.
Tanyn, who has had a great season, won the titles at the national championships at Perth’s Scarborough Beach on Sunday.
His sister Kamley also starred, finishing third in the Under-19 female 2km beach run.

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was located seriously injured in Ballina over the weekend.
About 5am ambulance personnel attended a home in River Street, Ballina, following a Triple-0 call indicating that there was an unconscious man at the address.

At the close of counting on Saturday night, Mr Page (Nationals) had totalled more than half the counted votes.
The figures with 32,953 counted were:

There’s been a southerly change and the swell is reasonably clean, about 1m, from the north-east.
