Sports grants announced
A number of Ballina Electorate athletes have been awarded grants under the 2007 NSW Country Athletes Scheme, Member for Ballina Don Page announced today.
“I am pleased to announce 15 local athletes shared in a total of $15,000 funding for the Ballina Electorate under the Country Athletes Scheme,” Mr Page said.
The successful recipients are:

Aaron Teys, Royal NSW Bowling Association
Reece Wilson, Royal NSW Bowling Association

Tanyn Lyndon, Surf Life Saving NSW Inc
Shannon Hulbert-Green, Surf Life Saving NSW Inc
Callum Smith, Swimming NSW Ltd
Jessica O’Connor, Taekwondo Australia (NSW)
Stephen Gort, Tennis NSW
Joseph Lampe, Triathlon NSW
Jessica Dengate, Women’s Golf NSW
Jacqueline Gray, Women’s Golf NSW

Mr Page also announced grants under the 2007 NSW Country Coaches and Officials Travel Scheme.

Gregory White of Alstonville, NSW Country Rugby Union;
Roger Buck of Brunswick Heads, NSW Country Rugby Union;
Dallas Johnson of Ballina, NSW Gymnastic Association; and
Kenneth Malcolm of Alstonville, Swimming NSW Ltd.
