Anzac Day activities in Ballina, Alstonville
Wednesday is Anzac Day, the day Australians remember those who have fallen in defence of their country.
The day’s commemorations in Ballina will begin with the Dawn Service at 5.30am.
There will be a pilgrimage to East Ballina cemetery, with a bus leaving at 8.45am, before marchers will assemble at the Old Post Office at 10.20. The march begins at 10.40.
The commemorative service will begin at 10.55 at the RSL Memorial Park.

In Alstonville the Dawn Service will be at 5.30am at Elizabeth Anne Brown Park. The march will begin at 9.30am at the Paddy Bugden Memorial, ending at Elizabeth Anne Brown Park for the 10am service.
