Ballina Seagulls 94, South Grafton 0
It wasn’t a game, it was a shame, as Ballina Seagulls trounced South Grafton Rebels 94-0 in Retravision Northern Rugby League at Kingsford Smith Park, Ballina, today.
To say the Rebels were outclassed is an understatement.
The club also lost by a big margin in reserve grade, 80-0, while in Under-18s, the score was slightly more respectable, with Ballina winning 34-6.
That’s a total of 208 points for Ballina in three grades, and the results must cast further doubt on Grafton’s ability to have two clubs.
Grafton Ghosts and South Grafton held merger talks before the season started, but were unable to reach an agreement.

I hate to see score lines like that. It just isn’t good for promotion of the game.
The only good thing about it is that our boys were the ones on the right side of the scoreboard.

Maybe they should have potted a field goal!
Just to get on the score board!

Actually Steve, I was hoping that they would pot a one-pointer, at least to give their fans (yes, some people travelled from Grafton to support their team) something to cheer about.
