Parr’s say farewell, ending a long tradition

Parr’s Bakery at East Ballina Shopping Centre will trade for the last time on Thursday, 7th June, bringing to an end a tradition of nearly three decades of baking in the Ballina/Lennox Head area by the Parr family.

Ballina Seagulls thrash Kyogle

Ballina Seagulls continued on their merry way in Retravision Northern League, scoring a crushing 72-18 win over the Kyogle Turkeys at Kingsford Smith Park, Ballina, today.
The Seagulls had the game wrapped up by half-time, going to the break leading 36-0.
