Congratulations to all Ballina Shire Business Excellence Award winners
Congratulations to all winners of the recent Ballina Shire Business Excellence Awards held last Saturday night at the Ballina RSL Club.
A special mention to the management and staff of Crowley on being named ‘Business of the Year‘ as well as winning the ‘Community Service’ category with CEO Michael Penhey thanking his ‘180 very dedicated staff’.
Among the award winners were Treudie’s Flowers in Paradise, Ballina RSL Club, Seaside Moto Cycles, Brewsters Cafe, Comfort Inn All Seasons, Ballina Natural Medicine Clinic, Air T&G, GHD, Sailfish Catamaran and Sublime Clothing with The Best New Business being awarded to Amaze n Place of Alstonville and the new category ‘Green Business Award‘ went to Helen & Chris Bull of Tassiriki Ranch at Empirevale and the work they do to protect the habitat of the endangered pied oystercatcher at South Ballina Beach.
The annual event held by the Ballina Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a great night for local business owners to be recognised for their business excellence while meeting new and old friends complete with good food and music.
