Weekend surf report
Onshore winds, courtesy of a low-pressure system off the southern Queensland coast, are making the beaches a real mess.
However, as the low moves south, look for the winds to turn to the south.
Given the intensity of the low, there could be a big swell on the way.
But in the meantime, about the only place worth a look would be Byron Bay.
