NSW Fishing Monthly editor Tony Zann’s weekend fishing report …
Bruce at Dave’s Bait Shop says quite a few jew have come from the breakwalls on hard sand soft lures. These fish are also pushing through to around the RSL Club on the rising tide.
A few flatties and bream being caught but they’re not getting too far upstream.
Blackfish in all the usual haunts but getting weed is a problem, lucky they’re taking yabbies as well.
Might be worth chasing a few muddies in the creeks with the rain we’ve had.
Beaches rough and outside a dead loss with a big bar.
Evans Head isn’t any better on the beaches, rocks or offshore. There have been a few blackfish in the river with bream and some flathead as well but that’s about it.
