Weekend surf report
Northerlies, northerlies, northerlies … it seems that is going to be the pattern this summer.
It’s been blowing from the north and north-east all week, and the forecast is for more of the same through until Monday.
There’s a swell of about two to three feet and some beach breaks locally early in the morning before it gets too blowy.
If it’s blown out on Saturday morning, why not help the newly formed Ballina-Lennox branch of the Surfrider Foundation with their inaugural beach clean-up day. Click here for more info.
Marine weather today: N/NE 20/25 knots. NW inshore in the morning. Sea: 1/2 metres. Swell: E/SE 1.5/2 metres. Thunderstorms.
