Federal election ballots for Page, Richmond
Page candidates from the major parties will have to overcome the ‘donkey vote’ if they are to win the seat at the November 24 poll.
The Nationals’ Chris Gulaptis has drawn last position on the ballot. Labor’s Janelle Saffin has drawn six.
For Page, the ballot is: 1 Doug Behn, Independent; 2 Mirian Vega, Family First; 3 John Culverwell, Citizens Electoral Council; 4 Julia Melland, Democrats; 5 Theo Jongen, The Greens; 6 Janelle Saffin, Labor; 7 Tony Kane, Independent; 8 Rhonda Avasalu, Christian Democratic Party; 9 Ben Beatty, Liberty & Democracy Party; 10 Chris Gulaptis, Nationals.
Some residents of Ballina Shire, for example, voters in Lennox Head and Cumbalum, are in the seat of Richmond, held by Labor’s Justine Elliot, who drew well at two.
Her major rival, The Nationals’ Sue Page, a Lennox Head GP, drew four.
For Richmond, the ballot will be: 1 Daniel Farmilo, Liberty and Democracy Party; 2 Justine Elliot, Labor; 3 Giovanni Ebono, The Greens; 4 Sue Page, Nationals; 5 Graham McCallum, Citizens Electoral Council; 6 Scott Sledge, Democrats; 7 Barbara Jean Raymond, Christian Democratic Party.
