Missing Irish tourist located
An Irish tourist missing for a week in the Mullumbimby area has been located.
Cormac Lally, 28, went missing from a property at Mullumbimby last Tuesday (27 November).
Concerned relatives raised the alarm when he failed to return from a walk.
Mr Lally is an Irish national who has been in Australia for two years and moved to the area from Byron Bay.
Police said that about 8.30am today, Mr Lally returned home, having walked out of bushland at Main Arm, via Mullumbimby.
The man was taken to Byron Bay hospital for a medical assessment.
