Beats on the Beach will be back, say organisers
Organisers of the Beats on the Beach concert say the event will return to Ballina in 2009.
The concert was held for the first time on New Year’s Day this year and a second event was scheduled for 2008.
However, the organisers, Heapsaflash Media, have announced the cancellation of the 2008 concert.
They have cited concerns with restrictions in available dates and operating hours.
“Held right next to the beach in picturesque Ballina, 15 minutes south of Byron Bay on NSW’s North Coast, Beat’s On The Beach 2007 was one of the highlights of last summer,” they said.
“Beats On The Beach will return in January 2009, and is already promising to be one of the landmark moments of next summers calendar.”
