Rescued man wants to thank his rescuers
A Ballina man is trying to contact two surfers who came to his assistance when he got into difficulty in the surf at the northern end of Shelly Beach, Ballina, last Monday.
The man, who does not want to be named, got into trouble while rescuing his young son.
One of the men who came to their assistance was on a surfboard. The other was on a boogy board.
The Ballina man was exhausted after the rescue and did not get a chance to thank the two men, aged around 20. One was named Jesse.
The man would like to meet with his rescuers and thank them.
