Remembering Valentines Day

What’s in store tonight? Will it be flowers, chocolates, a wonderful meal with your favourite music playing, rose petals on the bed complete with scented candles and French champagne?
If you forgot breakfast in bed this morning and it’s all too late to book the limo, make dinner reservations, write that love poem or “101 reasons why I love you” help is here. If you don’t want to be in the doghouse tonight why not try something a little different to remind them how romantic you are.
Show your romantic creativity with these easy last minute ideas..
- Text them I love you - and again and again…
- Make up some vouchers of - free manicure, free facial, free foot rub, free day with friends, free wash and wax, free to do what I want to do day, free ‘you don’t have to go’ card, free I’ll watch the children, free I’ll do the dishes. Add the romantic edge by writing them on hand cut out heart shapes and put them in a jar or envelope to be used randomly.
- Place little heart shaped lollies into a balloon and blow it up.
- Write I Love You - with kids blocks on the floor, in shaving foam on the glass while they’re in the shower, on the fridge door in magnets, and in sauce on their dinner plate. If you’re feeling really romantic add a few drops of red colouring into your cooking and create heart shaped pink mashed potato!! Hmmm, No me either!!
How about a few computer printout ideas. Not quite hand made but ‘its the thought that counts’!
All too hard? Maybe its easiest to just stand in line at the supermarket with all the other last minutes with your randomly chosen card and chocolates.
Oh and my old favourite that never fails …the good old ‘Chocolate Heart’. mmmmmm
