Weekend surf report

A strong southerly change overnight has blown out all the local spots.

The forecast for the weekend is for the southerlies to continue, and the swell is likely to increase.

If the wind eases off, we could be in for some decent waves over the weekend.

Marine weather:

Friday: S 25/33 knots. Sea: 2/3 metres. Swell: S/SE about 2 metres. Isolated thunderstorms.

Saturday: S 20/30 knots. Sea: 2/3 metres. Swell: S 2/3 metres.

Outlook Sunday: S/SE 15/25 knots, possibly reaching 20/30 knots offshore at first.

Outlook Monday: SE 15/25 knots.
