Lennox Head hosts Golden rugby

Saturday will be a busy day at Williams Reserve, Lennox Head, when the annual Nash Bash kicks off the Far North Coast Golden Rugby season.

The Nash Bash is held in memory of Glen Nash, a founding member of Lennox Head Stags rugby team.

Games kick off at 3pm after a 2pm muster.

Participating teams include the Ballina Battered Prawns, Byron Bay’s Smokin Joins, Tweed Coast Buccaneers, the Casino Crocs, Tenterfield’s Blue Heelers, Yamba’s Old Bucks, the Murwillumbah Mongrels, Lennox Head Stags, Lismore GGs, Kyogle Galahs and the Evans Head Sperm Whales.

Of course, the Golden rugby rules apply.
