Lifesavers to come a-knocking
Ballina Lighthouse and Lismore Surf Lifesaving Club volunteers will be knocking on doors this weekend in their annual fund-raising appeal.
If you’re away this weekend or you miss their call, you can still support the club by sending donations to PO Box 590, Ballina, 2478.
The club has been operating for more than 70 years and since then has played a vital role in keeping our beach safes.
Modern technology means more modern lifesaving techniques, so every cent counts.
