The Northern Star Ballina Lions Fun-Run-Walk is fast approaching..

The fun run is organised by the Ballina Lions Club and will be held on May 4, starting at Missingham Park at 9am.

Last year’s run-walk attracted more than 500 competitors and he expects that number to increase to about 700 this year.

There are walking categories, and categories for families.

A holiday for two to Lord Howe Island is the major prize.

The event is a fundraiser for Ballina Lions community projects.
