Ballina to celebrate Bike Week
NSW Bike Week takes place in September every year throughout NSW, and this year it will run from Saturday, September 20, to Sunday, September 28.
Bike Week events seek to encourage participation in cycling as an enjoyable, low-cost, healthy and environmentally friendly transport alternative, particularly for short trips.

8.30am 20km leisurely ride
8.45am 15km leisurely ride
9am short ride for families with young children
9.15am 10km leisurely ride.
Regular cycling groups are also invited to start and finish their rides from Missingham Park and be part of the event.
In addition to the rides, competitions will be judged from 10.30am and prizes awarded for the following categories:

The Oldest Rider
The Youngest Rider.
There will also be prize draws for participating, information displays, demonstrations, fun bike skills challenges, and as with previous years, the SES will be providing a barbecue.
