Westlawn Finance gives Rotary fundraiser a $500 boost
Westlawn Finance Ballina have given the combined Rotary Clubs of Ballina-on-Richmond and Alstonville a kick-start to their major fundraiser for 2008, The Rotary Radio Auction, by donating $500 to the project.
The money will go towards promotion of the Radio Auction to be conducted in the last week of November.
Club members are currently seeking donations of goods and services to be auctioned off over Paradise 101.9FM.
The week-long radio auction concludes with a free family afternoon concert on Saturday 29th of November, which includes a variety of local talent and an auction selling off selected items during the afternoon. Santa Claus also will make an appearance for the children.
Many outstanding items have been donated together with numerous cash donations.
