Balls will be availabale at the clubhouse, with information on all tennis events held at the club.

Come along and have a hit with your family and friends.

“With the new children’s playground in operation at the Bowling Club and the forthcoming upgrade of the coffee shop, it is a great opoportunity for mums to meet for tennis, coffee and enjoy the comfortable outdoor setting at the Bowling Club throughout the year,” the tennis club said.

“The tennis courts can be booked at the Ballina Bowling Club reception desk any day.

“Tennis is a sport for life and can be enjoyed by all family members. So come along and pick up an information sheet at the Tennis Club on Monday and let’s see many more families back on the tennis courts.”

The club says there are more seniors playing tennis these days than juniors.

“If tennis in Australia is to have a future, it has to have a strong junior base,” it said. “Ballina probably has one of the best tennis centres on the North Coast.”
