Lennox Head Landcare seeks Tree Day volunteers
Lennox Head Landcare members will be celebrating National Tree Day on Sunday the 2nd August at Boulder Beach and are looking for as many volunteers as possible to join them.
They will be starting at 8.30am and continuing until all trees are planted, which should be around 10.30, depending on how much assistance members have.
The site is at Boulder Beach at the beginning of the track leading from the Coast Road. Parking at the Coast Road entry. Wear a hat and solid shoes and please bring your own water.
The Lennox Head Lions will be there to provide some refreshments during the morning.
If you haven’t been to Boulders for a while it is a great opportunity to see the changes that are occurring, including the devastation caused to the banksias by the recent storms.
