Market day: $1 for a Lions sausage sanga!
The East Baliina Lions Club, organisers of the Ballina Markets, have over the recent months spent many hours advertising the markets by posting flyers with market details into mail boxes across Ballina.
This month if residents find one in their box it will have on it a special offer.
If you bring the flyer to the East Ballina Lions BBQ stall at the next market at Canal Road on Sunday 16th August you can purchase one of their famous sausage sandwiches for just one dollar. The offer will be for this market only and will most likely be the cheapest lunch in town!
The Lions were delighted with the new market site which is adjacent to the old site in Canal Road.
The large, leafy site proved to be popular with stall holders and market goers alike.
The number of stalls are continuing to increase and at $10 for a stall fee are still the cheapest market stalls around and the markets are now attracting great crowds.
The weather is promising to be good and the peaceful atmosphere of the market could be a relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning.
All regular stall holders will still be there and many more. Parking as always is free and close to the stalls.
East Ballina Lions are looking to extend the food options available at the Ballina markets and invite expressions of interest from food stall holders.
