Check out the Quota Art & Craft Fair this weekend
If you’re in the Alstonville region this weekend, pop in to the Quota International of Alstonville-Wollongbar’s annual Art & Craft fair, which is being held on Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30, at the Alstonville Leisure and Entertainment Centre.
This is the premier fundraiser for Quota International of Alstonville-Wollongbar and all proceeds assist local charities and Quota projects.
Over $90,000 has been distributed to groups in need over the past six years.
The Quota ladies have been busy putting together this event and have again managed to find the best craft people with the newest and most exciting products to sell.
“Local and interstate craft people believe that this is the best opportunity to display their quality wares. The Quota Craft Fair is recognised as the one of the premium events in the Northern Rivers,” organisers said.
“With over 50 exhibitors confirmed, it promises to be another great event, despite the economic climate.
“If you have never seen Serviette Art or vintage Rag Dolls, the best of local patchwork and quilting or watched the local wood-turners in action, then this year the Art & Craft fair is the place to be.
“It’s always a great place to stock up on craft fabrics, beading or paper art supplies or buy those special gifts for Christmas.”
