Richmond Tweed Regional Library offers help at exam time

It’s school exam season and stress is in the air – sweaty palms, butterflies, panic – and that is just the parents.

The Richmond Tweed Regional Library can help with yourtutor, an online homework help service available Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm. Best of all, it is free to use thanks to funding from BCU and Griffith University.

Simply go to the library website www.rtrl.nsw.gov.au click the yourtutor logo on the front page and use a library card number to log in.

A real life tutor will be online to help with exam preparation, study skills, maths revision, assignment proof reading or even the finer points of calculus.

All the tutors are subject specialists, are Australian educated, understand what students are going through and they only work with one student at a time.

“You never know, if students are encouraged to get some help when they need it, we all may relax a little,” a Richmond Tweed Library spokeswoman said.

“There is more to your library than books!”

“The Richmond-Tweed Regional Library is a community service of the Ballina, Byron, Lismore and Tweed councils.
