Evans Head welcomes ideal fishing conditions
Local fishermen have enjoyed some excellent conditions recently both in the river and outside towards Chaos reef.
With the holidays soon approaching the fishing conditions auger well for a successful summer break, with good catches reported from the Evans township.
The bar has been relatively tame, but fishermen are reminded of the safety requirements for passing through the bar with the necessity to wear lifejackets. There have been a number of cautions over the last few weeks to fishermen failing to wear them.
