Lance Ferris Memorial Dinner postponed
The Lance Ferris Memorial Dinner has been postponed.
The dinner will now be held on Saturday 5th June, World Environment Day. Further details will be provided soon.
“A number of factors contributed to the decision of the Management Committee of ASR, including illness of key personnel and the financial status of the event,” Australian Seabird Rescue general manager Keith Williams said.
“We apologise to all the people that had purchased tickets for the event. Anybody who has purchased a ticket will receive full refund on presentation of a receipt to the Ballina RSL.
“Lance is dear to many of our hearts and we wish to ensure that any event held in his honour is worthy of his name.
