Don Page returns to work after heart surgery
Ballina MP Don Page has fully recovered from recent heart surgery and has returned to full-time work today.
Mr Page recently underwent heart valve replacement surgery for a condition he has had since birth but which was only identified recently.
“I’m in even better shape than I was before the valve replacement surgery and I feel great,” he said.
“I would like to thank the hundreds of people who sent me their good wishes over the past seven weeks since the operation. Your support is very much appreciated, lifted my spirits and hastened my recovery.”
