International Women’s Day events in Ballina, Lennox Head
Events will be held in Ballina and Lennox Head next week to mark International Women’s Day.
On Wednesday, March 10, the Ballina International Women’s Day lunch will be held at the Ballina RSL Club from noon.
The theme of the event is alleviating poverty.
The event is organised by the Ballina Chamber of Commerce and tickets, costing $45, can be purchased from the chamber, phone 6681 5049.
A Lennox Head event will be held on Thursday, March 11, at Blackboard on the Beach from noon.

There will be events every day next week to mark International Women’s Day.
Scentalicious in River Street will be holding ‘tasting’ sessions on Monday and Friday at 4pm Cost $30. Phone 6681 4934.
Divalicious taster dance classes will be held from Monday to Friday in the evenings. They are free. Phone 0401 204034.
Midian’s Realm in Ballina will hold jewellery making workshops on Tuesday and Thursday at 10am, 1pm and 3pm. Cost $20. Phone 6686 6343.
Jack Ransom Cycles in Ballina will hold a women’s bicycle fitness and fun riding session on Saturday, March 13, from 8am. Cost $5. Phone 6686 3485.
