Jeff Johnson is the Greens’ candidate for Page
Ballina Shire Greens Councillor Jeff Johnson has won the pre-selection ballot to represent the Greens as candidate in the seat of Page at the federal election likely to be held later this year.
Cr Johnson was chosen in a postal ballot conducted among members of the Ballina, Northern Rivers and Clarence Greens who
live within the electorate.
The ballot was also contested by Shae Miller (Northern Rivers Greens).
An official announcement of his candidacy will take place in the coming weeks.
Cr Johnson will be opposed at the election by Labor’s Member for Page Janelle Saffin and the National Party’s Kevin Hogan.
