Lennox Head Community Tree Planting Event postponed
Ballina Shire Council in partnership with Geolink are postponing the World Environment Day Lennox Head Community Tree-Planting Day on Lennox headland planned for Friday 4 June 2010.
The new date will be Friday 11 June 2010. Planting will take place at the same location at the top of Lennox headland, commencing at 9.00 am through to 12 noon.
The planting day has been postponed due to the impact of the severe weather that hit Lennox Head township today.
Council staff will be required to assist with the ongoing clean-up efforts and it is uncertain when power will be restored to the village.
