Free bicycle workshops for women will be held in Ballina during July.

The first will be on Saturday, July 24, from 9am until 11am at Missingham Park, Kingsford Smith Drive, Ballina. It will focus on bicycle confidence.

The second will be on Saturday, July 31, from 1pm until 3pm at Jack Ransom Cycles, 16 Cherry Street, Ballina. It will focus on bicycle maintenance.

The workshop will cover an introduction to cycling skills, bicycle safety and awareness, Australian road rules and bike maintenance.

Bookings are essential. Phone Ballina Shire Council’s Road Safety Officer on 6686 1427.
