Quota Craft Fair is set to go

It’s on again! A year seems to go so quickly, but for the whole year, the girls at Alstonville Wollongbar Quota Club have been working towards their 10th Annual Arts and Craft Fair.
The Fair will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 28th and 29th August, 2010 - as always, the last weekend in August each year.
Each year, fashions change, trends change, and so do the stands at the Fair.
All manner of wonderful creations will be on display again this year: fabulous jewellery, incorporating up-to-the-minute, innovative designs and colours; and, a range of fashion accessories and handbags.
Wonderful woodwork creations will feature, ranging from small articles for the coffee or dining table, to larger, functional pieces. Beautiful and different timber picture frames are another highlight.
Spectacular quilting and sewing is always an element of the Fair, and this year is no exception. Exhibits will include exquisite, hand-dyed fabrics, and quilting techniques that will take your breath away!
The Quota girls have themselves been working towards making their stand at the Fair a ‘Standout’, with Crazy Teapot Cosies, very novel plants, wonderful crocheted pieces and all manner of affordable items.
This Fair is the one major fundraiser for the year for Alstonville Wollongbar Quota Club, and proceeds of the Fair are given to local families, charities and causes throughout the following year.
The canteen, with home-made cakes and slices, tea, coffee and drinks, runs all day, as does the barbeque, with sizzling hot food for all tastes. The Fair runs from 9am until 4pm each day.
