Andrew Battese dominates Seagulls’ awards night

Halfback Andrew Battese has dominated the Ballina Seagulls Rugby League Club awards night, winning Best and Fairest, Player of the Year and Players Player.

Battese was the dominant player for the club in the 2010 Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League season, which saw the Seagulls  make it to the grand final, where they were beaten 14-6 by the Grafton Ghosts.

Best & Fairest: Jess Perry.

Player’s Player: Nathan Aubusson.

Coach’s Award: Cameron Hahn.

Best Back: Steve Anderson.

Best Forward: Paul Taggett.

Best & Fairest: Kev Clarke.

McGrath Real Estate First Grade:

Best & Fairest: Andrew Battese; runner-up: Paul O’Neill.

Players Player: Andrew Battese.
