An Acapelican Christmas

Join local mixed-voice choral group, Acapelicans, as they span the centuries and continents with soaring harmonies and delightful melodies.

This will include contemporary pop through jazz, folk and Negro spirituals, and some Beatles hits.

And of course you can’t have a concert in December without Christmas music, some familiar, some unfamiliar and some that will encourage audience participation.

There will be instrumental interludes from Margaret Curtis, harp, and Mark Earl, flute. Mark will be performing an innovative arrangement of tunes from Phantom of the opera, accompanied by Warren Whitney on organ.

  • St Mary’s Anglican Church, Norton St, Ballina
  • Friday, 10 December, 2010, 7.30pm
  • Tickets at the door, adult $15, concession $12

Net proceeds from this concert will be donated to Westpac life saver Rescue Helicopter. Heading into the busiest time of the year the Rescue Helicopter can fly up to six missions a day at a cost of $8500 per mission, their annual operating budget is $6.5 million.
