Ballina Climate Action Network Goup (BCAN)
About 12 months ago we signed on to the rapidly growing national campaign for 100% renewable energy. This is a grassroots driven campaign. We are well organized and resourced.
Over the last two months we have been conducting a survey on Ballina residents attitudes to renewable energy. The results will be collated at the end of May & taken to both State & Federal MP’S.
The survey will culminate next weekend May 29th with a nation wide door knock of the survey. We will be taking part with over 110 climate action groups from every state.
We are asking all Ballina and district residents who are concerned about climate change to become part of the solution by helping us with this important project.
To prepare for the door knock, we will be running a workshop on Wed May 25 at the Ballina High library.It will run from 7 to 8.30.
At the workshop we will be explaining the 100 % campaign, roll playing possible responses, identifying possible problems & developing responses to these. The aim will be all participants feel comfortable with the process. For details www.100percent.org.au or phone 66828 145

Heard the results of your survey on ABC radio this morning and I agree that we need to move to 100% renewable energy, can I join or participate in anyway in any future projects?
